How to do great work with a calm mind.
Unlock super intelligence and super productivity and become superhuman.
This is not a regular productivity article/ essay about mix matching the same old recycled principles you find in pretty much all the self-help books, vaguely copied, chewed and poorly understood, digested food particles of Greek philosophers or Stoicism. No. This is a blend of spirituality, the cumulative handwork and hard work of our unsung ancient heroes, spiritual scientists and truth seekers with a touch of modern thought and perspective. I know this is not what you probably signed up for. But I suggest giving it a try; if it resonates with your symphony, you will be delighted, learn something new, become super productive and maybe superhuman.
Note that I repeat some sentences a few times in this essay. It’s not because of laziness or a lack of words and ideas. It’s done on purpose. We learn through repetition and association. I don’t want you to read this article many times. I want you to read it once and carry these principles for life. Hence, the repeated sentences.
Let’s dive in.
Today, we will discuss how consecrating our every act, action, activity, deed, thought, and work to a higher principle, an Impersonal, formless higher energy(for the rationalist) or God (for the believer), can make us exceptionally super productive.
Yoga, it is. This word has been most butchered, twisted, tortured and impersonated like anything else in our world, mostly by misunderstood commercial commerce minds. It’s not about bending your back or body. True Yoga is a beautiful, thrilling, utterly useful, sacred, powerful technology and masterful technique that propels us and gives access to innate and hidden capabilities, capacities and potentials of our Human consciousness. We can become superhumans with the sacred and correct use of this technology. It would be a true diligent delight and beatitude if we could grasp our hands on this technology and at least understand what it represents and stands for.
How do we proceed? I can’t wait anymore. I want to be supremely productive. I want to become a superhuman and a genius right now or as soon as possible. You will. Just bear with me and keep an eye on this and the upcoming essays I will write. I have been researching, studying and practicing these concepts for years now. I’ll try to share what I learned, my knowledge and wisdom.
This article focuses on a section of Yoga where we can masterfully use our work and bodily actions infused with our active, attentive mind, consecrate our work to a higher principle, and ultimately unlock our superhuman capabilities.
The Flow State, with probably a similar name, is the book that came close to describing this superconscious state that will enable us to achieve super productivity in our work and actions. However, it could only grasp the tail, missing the essence, real knowledge, and supreme wisdom.
So, what technique, technology, and tool can we use to achieve superhuman capabilities? Where do I start? How do I begin?
Simple.
There is a mantra—simple yet incredibly powerful in its effect, effectiveness, and force.
Simply say, “peace, peace, peace” thrice and let it sink. Act as if you are trying to hear a vague, faint, almost inaudible sound. Stay absolutely calm, quiet, peaceful, and silent. An infinite quietude will flood your mind. If you do it regularly, you can feel those subtle, powerful vibrations of quietness and peace and full of bliss engulfing your mind and body. This is step number 1 before you do anything. You have to absolutely calm your mind and stay like a deep, quiet, calm ocean without a single wave, potent, charged, yet not moving. Just quiet. Like the absolute silence of a tiger about to catch its prey, like the gaze of an eagle, like the infinite calm of a Yogi, who wouldn’t move no matter what happens. He’s just deeply absorbed into his deepest self, to the point where his self/ ego is absolutely dissolved into this vast ocean of nothingness.
You can do nothing without quieting your mind. You must be calm, quiet, peaceful and silent in order to pull and hold these perennial energies that flow through your mind when you want to do some work. Only in the deepest depths and death-like silence can greater miraculous work be achieved and accomplished. Such is the way.
Step 2. Annihilate your ego.
The ego is a creative creation of nature. We are beyond this imaginary, seemingly existing entity. We are not Ego. We are that. We are the self that created everything. Multiple manifestations of one reality. Like the image of a sun reflected in multiple broken mirror pieces. We are the truth, light, eternal existence, infinite intelligence and supreme bliss. Believe it or not. Agree with me or not. It is so, apparently. This is the truth. Stay tuned for my future essays to know why it is. For now, it’s simply enough to know that ego is a great limitation. It’s a great fiction, fictitious and a creation of nature. It limits our capabilities, potentials and innate superpowers, our birthright and God’s gift. You must at least temporarily annihilate your ego to achieve miraculous, spine-thrilling, nerve-chilling and mind-bending productivity. When you are working, become the work. Let your self, being, every cell and atom of your entire self be full of that work.
Think of nothing but the work followed by absolute silence. Become the work. Dissolve into the infinite, beautiful, great depths of the work and deep into the world of that work. Remember. You have to be absolutely quiet, calm, peaceful and sincerely silent in order to become the work. Collect all the dissipated, distracted, derailed threads of your consciousness and focus on one point to the point where the point itself would dissipate, dissolve and disappear into the great unknown depths of the infinite nothingness, and nothing remains but the idea of the work you put your mind into. Let a temporary amnesia take over your mind, body and self. Forget your self. Dissolve your entire self. Let go of any and all thoughts, the thoughts of fatigue, and ideas of limitations like —thinking of the fruit of the work, the name, fame, pride and all the nonsensical garbage that our ego invents, invests, assimilates and associates itself with. The ego binds itself by these things just discussed. These need to be cut asunder, mercilessly and with vigour and vigorously. This is the only way to at least temporarily annihilate our Ego.
Something magical happens When the ego is temporarily forgotten about or when we let go of its principle, concept and form. An infinite source of energy and intelligence is floating right above our minds. We cannot see or feel it with our naked eye, but we can reach and realize it through our consciousness. This energy, some call it the super consciousness, or subconscious, or the medium of God particle, is absolutely boundless, infinite, full of beatitude and bliss and has the magic key. It possesses all infinite wisdom and knowledge. All great beings could do great things because they found access to this subtle higher consciousness and medium — like genius musicians, pianists, artists, scientists, mathematicians, etc. They are able to rupture its surface and tap into its very source and could take whatever and everything they can. Every word, act, idea, thought, design, poem, painting or formula they expressed is a reverberating, reverent manifestation of this higher energized consciousness, and the only way to access this source is by annihilating our ego and limitation — by reverse engineering and removing all its roots, tentacles and creations. Even if there’s a faint idea that it is you who is doing the work while doing the work, you will instantly and immediately lose access to this mystical power, source and energy. You have to let go of all that is you. With an absolute quiet mind, you will be flooded with abundant energy, great energies, higher powers, infinite wisdom, strength, and knowledge.
Step 3. The sacred act of consecration.
Now that you are absolutely calm, quiet, peaceful and silent. You annihilated your ego by cutting its roots — not thinking about the result, the fruit of the work, name, fame, money, or selfishness. Your mind is like that of the surface of a crystal clear lake. You could feel the flowing of the higher energies of superconsciousness; you could feel your whole mind and body flooded with these great energies, subtle vibrations full of delight. You let go of your self temporarily. You collected all the threads of your consciousness into one point, pointed, and you could only feel, see and think of nothing but the work you put your mind into. Now, how can you use these energies? How can you do great work? Simple. This is the most important, profound and beautiful step. Now that you have annihilated your ego, you cannot do it for your ego, self or selfish needs. You need to do it for something else or a higher principle or a higher idea, which is beyond all these treacherous, gross, illicit limitations of humankind. What could that be? If you are a firm believer of faith, It can be your favourite God - Krishna, Jesus, Allah or any personal, impersonal, form, formless God works. What about those still seeking or more inclined towards a rational scientific temperament? You could consecrate to a higher principle or idea. The great nothingness or the highest everything or that which created everything that we are. Whatever it is—an energy, structure, formula, principle. Anything works. The idea is that the very act of consecration shouldn’t be mechanical, robotic, and lifeless. You should do it with every cell of your heart, full of love and bliss.
Your heart should feel that it’s working for that higher principle or God only. It’s doing this work not for selfish or selfless reasons or needs but for higher principle and higher purpose only. Your every act, action, deed, thought and work should sacredly consecrate and flow towards this higher principle and for principle’s sake only. Your mind should be absolutely calm, flooded with higher energies, and your heart full of love. You can freely access these higher energies and achieve great work. The poetry you produce will stand the test of time and will create ripples in the generations that are yet to come, making your work live forever, alive and full of vibrant vigour and life. The mathematical formulas you write will define God. The painting you make will thrill, twist and spellbind every eye that watches it. The music you produce will instantly transport the listener into an indescribable medium of supreme bliss. Incredible is its capabilities. Infinite are its captivating capacities and profound prowess, waves and vibrations.
You will be a perfect, precise instrument and tool for these supreme superior energies and higher consciousness in order to do great work, achieve incredible things, accelerate and move the wheels of Humankind towards the greatest greatness, highest heights, victorious vicissitudes and incredible impossibilities.
This is the trick, technique, technology and tool. This is the real Yoga.
I said what I had to. You heard what you had to and meant to. Now, I leave you with this great knowledge, wisdom, and tools. I take leave in the hope of a bright future, a beautiful world, and spiritually advanced humanity and superhumans.
Until then,
